About Us
GREG CARTER Greg Carter brings a wide range of experience and innovation to his hockey school. Trained by a renowned European figure skating coach, Greg has been running hockey camps for over 20 years. Greg and his staff work with area youth programs year-round, as well as hold special clinics and mini-camps throughout the hockey season.
Through Greg Carter’s teaching methods, many of his students have gone on to achieve Division I college hockey scholarships and have made US National Teams and the US Women’s Olympic Team. Some of his former students have also been drafted and play in the NHL .
Greg also volunteers as a coach, and during his tenure with the Assabet Valley Girls U-14 team (formerly called the U-15 team), the team won four consecutive National Championships and seven State titles. They also captured first place in numerous tournaments. It is from all these experiences that Greg continues to enhance his hockey school and provide students with the instruction they need to be successful.
Hockey playing experience Greg Carter played Division I hockey with the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. Upon completion of his scholarship, Greg played in the ECHL for the Dayton Bombers when they were affiliated with the Minnesota North Stars. Prior to college, Greg attended and played at New Hampton Prep School in New Hampton, NH. Greg also participated in numerous competitive hockey leagues and tournaments including the Bay State Games and Hockey Night in Boston.

The staff at Greg Carter’s European Hockey Training Camp fosters the professionalism and discipline that is required to provide the optimum learning atmosphere for students. Our instructors have a wide range of experience, playing at the Professional, Division I college, Junior, and High School levels. Our staff possesses the interpersonal skills needed to demonstrate and communicate the Carter Method effectively.
